I am completely new to having a website, how do I get started?
A. You don't need to be an expert to work with our website and email marketing system. The Golf Pro Network support team will guide you through the whole process when launching your new website and will always be on the end of phone if you ever need any assistance both pre- or post your website launch.
I already have a website. How can Golf Pro Network help me?
A. It's great you already have a website and recognise the value of internet marketing. However, a website powered by Golf Pro Network can offer an increased level of functionality. They are regularly updated with high quality golf content and provide you with marketing access to a growing number of nomadic golfers and a series of professionally designed email templates. It is simple to move your existing website onto the Golf Pro Network platform so that you can take advantage of these additional features straight away.
Who can access my website's information and update the content?
A. Access to the content management system of your website is strictly controlled by you. You can give administrator access to as many people as you wish or to just one person if you prefer.
I have no web skills at all. How easy is a Golf Pro Network website to maintain?
A. Couldn't be simpler! We have listened to both Golf Professionals when creating our administration systems, knowing that time and ease of use is of the highest importance.
How much will a website cost per year?
A. The annual fee is £360 (+ VAT) which you can break down into 12 monthly payments if you would like. In the first year there is a one-off set up fee of £250 (+ VAT) which covers your design and website development and is in addition to the annual fee of £360.
How do I know that this price is not going to increase dramatically once I'm onboard?
A. Golf Pro Network has a Price Promise Pledge which promises that annual fees will not increase by than more than 5% at any one time.
How long do I have to sign a contract with Golf Pro Network for?
A. The standard length of a Golf Pro Network contract is one year which will be a rolling contract. However, any professional will be able to leave the Network with 3 months notice. You will still own the domain name and site content.
Am I 'locked' into the contract?
A. No. If you have signed a contract, you will be able to leave with 3 months notice.
What support is available to me?
A. As part of the agreement with Golf Pro Network, email and telephone support is available. We will also provide a detailed and regularly updated manual for site administrators and an online help section within our support website.
What if I do not wish to have advertising on my website?
A. The amount of advertising and the type of companies taking space will be strictly controlled. It is not in our interests or that of the individual Pros to damage the integrity of the Network with unsuitable advertising or to bombard your clients so they no longer use the site.
A Pro will be able to request certain adverts are not shown if for any reason they conflict with your own advertising policy or branded products that you stock. Individual Pros will be able to continue offering their own partners opportunities to market to their clients.
